Yukon Virtual School Resource Center

Enrollment in Yukon Virtual School is open for the second semester.  Applications will close on January 3rd.

What is Yukon Virtual School?

Yukon Virtual School is available for students in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. Students who participate in this academic pathway are required to complete an online application and all classes are completed off campus.

The curriculum will be provided by the content management systems (CMS) Edgenuity (7th-12th grade) and Flexpoint (K-6th grade). A Yukon Public School teacher, counselor and administrator will be assigned to each student for support and monitoring purposes. Students will be required to take district progress monitoring benchmark assessments three times a year (beginning, middle and end of year) and any assessments required by the Oklahoma State Department of Education.

Application Information and Links

Please note that students who are enrolled in our virtual school will no longer be assigned to their home school.  If a student returns to the traditional classroom setting at a later date, school site and/or elective choices may be limited. Virtual school enrollment requires a semester long commitment. You will not be allowed to change your enrollment from virtual to the traditional options until the next semester.   Enrollment and path change dates for the second semester will be sent to families at a later time.

Requirements for Applications

To apply for Virtual School you must already be a current student with Yukon Public Schools and complete the appropriate virtual application listed below. Enrollment for the first semester of the 23-24 school year is currently closed.    Applications for the second semester will open on December 1st.   If you have questions please reach out to virtual@yukonps.com.  New students to Yukon Public Schools will have 10 days to enroll in virtual school.
